Who is Master Distiller Lesley Gracie?
Lesley Gracie, the inventor of Hendrick's, based at the Gin Palace in Girvan, Scotland, was an alchemical genius as well as a scientist. She is one of the world’s greatest gin innovators.
Gracie moved to Scotland in 1988 and joined William Grant & Sons. As Hendrick's head winemaker, she brings together two of her passions: gardening and innovation. She said excitedly: "I love flowers and plants. Since I was very young, I have often wandered around the garden and picked flowers." Hendrick was inspired by rose gardens.
