Chateau d'Esclans is located in the Provence wine region of France. It is one of the well-known wineries in the region. It is currently managed by Sacha Lichine and Patrick Leon is the winemaking consultant of the winery.

Sacha Lichine was born in Bordeaux. After graduating from the United States, he began working in the family winery Chateau Prieure-Lichine in the Medoc region. Previously, Sacha also worked as a sommelier at Anthony’s Pier 4 restaurant in Boston, USA, and was responsible for managing the Caribbean region at Southern Wine & Spirit, a large American wine company. In 1990, Sacha Lichon founded his own wine trading company, mainly promoting high-quality wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy. Later, in 2006, Sacha Lichon became the owner of Chateau d'Esclans and made it a world-renowned wine brand. Patrick Leon is a native of Bordeaux with rich winemaking experience. He has worked at Chateau Lascombes and Chateau Castera and worked with Baron Phillipe de Rothschild for nearly 20 years.

Chateau d'Esclans has a vineyard area of 44 hectares and is located in the Provence Plateau, with unique terroir conditions. The winery's vineyard is famous for producing high-quality old vine Grenache. One of the planting areas of Grenache is 90 years old. After the grapes are ripe, the winery harvests some of them manually.

Chateau d'Esclans combines advanced winemaking equipment with traditional winemaking techniques to produce high-quality wines with the characteristics of Provence terroir. The wines that have been officially released include Garrus Rose, Les Clans Rose, Deesse Astree, Cotes de Provence Rose and Deesse Diane. Among them, Chateau d'Esclans' classic wine Whispering Angel is also one of the classic Provence rosé wines, made from Rolle, Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Tibouren. This wine has the aroma of ripe red fruits, mixed with a hint of minerality and floral aroma, and finally leaves a fresh strawberry aroma, which is deeply loved by consumers.

A silky, seductive and saline Côtes de Provence rosé with aromas of small berries, red currants and salt. It’s medium-bodied, succulent, fresh and playful, with a caressing texture and a vivid, saline finish.
