Chateau Langoa Barton (朗高巴頓莊園)位於法國波爾多的Saint-Julien(聖朱利安)產區,在1855 分級中位列三級莊。酒莊歷史起源可以追溯到1722年,Thomas Barton離開了故鄉來到了法國,開啟了Barton家族的紅酒旅程。1821年,Thomas的孫子Hugh Barton買下了Chateau Langoa Barton的前身——Chateau Lango),並為其改名為Chateau Langoa Barton。時至今日,Chateau Langoa Barton仍屬於Barton家族,已在八代家族成員的掌管下走過近兩百個春秋。這種從未間斷的傳承使酒莊獨特的文化傳統得以世代積澱,同時也為出產品質穩定、風格統一的佳釀增添了保障。




Chateau Langoa Barton葡萄園占地20公頃,俯瞰著鄰近的Gironde。受益於河流的影響,這裏有著更為溫和的微氣候,較少遭受極端氣候的影響。園內底土以深厚的黏土層為主,表面則覆蓋著眾多礫石。葡萄的種植比例約為57%的赤霞珠、34%的梅洛和9%的品麗珠,梅洛的年份近些年來一直有增加,同時也有種植一些小維多。葡萄平均樹齡為37年,但是,他們有可追溯至1953年的老葡萄樹。葡萄園的葡萄種植密度為每公頃9,100個葡萄樹。酒莊採用可持續發展的種植方法,並不斷提高有機種植的地塊比例,保護葡萄園及周圍的生態環境,從而收穫更優質的釀酒葡萄。




酒莊葡萄酒風格傳統,在1980年中期,Anthony Barton 購置了一套名為“Chai”的新釀酒設備。與波爾多地區生產於1970至1980年間的其他釀酒設備不同的是,“Chai”仍保留傳統木造發酵桶,並非使用不銹鋼桶。然後在平均50%的新法國橡木桶中陳釀出Langoa Barton城堡的葡萄酒大約20個月。




目前,朗高巴頓莊園聘請了極具影響力的釀酒師埃裡克·博賽諾(Eric Boissenot)擔任釀酒顧問。釀酒葡萄均由人工採摘,並經過光學分揀台及人工挑選兩道篩選,隨後進入控溫大橡木桶中發酵。發酵完成後,酒液會在新桶比例為60%的法國橡木桶中熟成16-18個月。這般由埃裡克與酒莊的釀酒團隊通力合作打造出的佳釀,充分而忠實地傳達了葡萄園風土的優越性。

Cassis, leather, tobacco, green peppercorn and cedar. This particular flavor combination makes me weak in the knees. Other reviewers seem nonplussed, but after almost a thousand tasting notes this is what I like.

The medium to deep garnet colored 2009Langoa Barton is scented of warm red and black plums, dried mulberries andblackcurrant cordial with touches of dried mint and new leather. Medium tofull-bodied with a solid frame of grainy tannins and bold freshness, it hasloads of red and black berry preserves layers on the long, savory finish.

The 2009 Langoa-Barton has a gorgeous bouquet with blackberry, bilberry, cedar and light tobacco aromas that blossom from the glass. This feels so composed and pure. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, fine-grain tannin, beautifully judged acidity and a svelte, languorous finish that fans out with style. What a gorgeous and utterly seductive Saint-Julien. It turns out to be Langoa Barton, a wine that I have rated very highly in the past. Tasted blind at Farr Vintners’ 2009 Bordeaux tasting.


【Wine Spectator 93pts】

Very dense and still rather reserved, withdark blueberry, blackberry and fig notes rolled together, framed by freshlybrewed espresso and Black Forest cake notes. Long and tarry through the finish,with a melted licorice snap note hanging on at the very end. Best from 2014through 2030. 10,000 cases made.

A rich and fleshy wine, yet it remainsdecisively dry. Attractive blueberry aroma and impressive supple tannins makethis very harmonious. If it was slightly brighter in the nose this would rateeven higher. Drink now.

A deceptively approachable wine. Itsgorgeous fruits are right up front, their ripeness powered by a generous,complex texture. There is concentration, but it is surrounded by so muchrichness. It can almost be drunk now, but should age well. ROGER VOSS

Beautiful aromas of flowers and berries, intermingled in fresh and brambly mode with a cedary edge. This is very fresh. The tannins carve an exceptionally deep, long line through the dark berries and cassis and deliver a very powerful, unwavering finish. This is in great form. Very powerful and focused.

Sappy and dense, with kirsch, plum reduction, mulled açai berry and warmed fig fruit showing impressive range, while licorice snap, ganache and roasted apple wood notes jostle behind them. Mouthwatering acidity should give this plenty of time to round into form.

The 2016 Langoa Barton is medium to deep garnet-purple colored and opens with cedar, red and black currants, kirsch and menthol with smoked meats. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm, grainy and packed with youthful, energetic fruit, finishing long and perfumed.

The 2016 Langoa Barton is succulent, racy and inviting, with striking textural richness and depth. Ripe dark plum,tobacco, cedar, licorice and spice are all generous in this racy, pliant Saint-Julien. The 2016 is an especially fine edition of Langoa-Barton and one of the sleepers of the vintage.
