Les Plantes is a historic Premier Cru vineyard in the village of Chambolle-Musigny, situated on the extension of the renowned Premier Cru Les Charmes, and considered one of the village's most representative and high-quality plots. The winery owns approximately 0.4 hectares of vineyard land; though small, it perfectly showcases the elegant and refined style of Chambolle-Musigny. Among Amiot-Servelle's many wines, Les Plantes is considered one of the winery's most delicate and feminine creations. The wine is dominated by aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and wild berries, with a light yet penetrating body, displaying Chambolle-Musigny's signature floral notes and velvety palate.
Domaine Amiot-Servelle, located in Chambolle-Musigny, a renowned village in the heart of the Côte de Nuits region, between Morey-Saint-Denis and Vougeot, is one of the area's most representative family-owned wineries. Dating back to the 1920s, the winery is currently managed by the fourth generation of the family, siblings Prune and Antoine Amiot, continuing the family's commitment to terroir expression and precise winemaking.
The winery currently owns approximately 8 hectares of vineyards, most of which are located in Chambolle-Musigny, and includes several Premier Cru and Grand Cru plots, including renowned vineyards such as Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru, Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, Les Amoureuses, Les Charmes, Les Fuées, and Les Plantes.
Amiot-Servelle is one of the earliest wineries in Chambolle-Musigny to practice organic farming. Since 2003, it has fully adopted organic farming methods for its vineyards, officially obtaining organic certification in 2008. The winery believes that excellent wines begin in healthy soil, therefore it refuses to use herbicides and chemical pesticides, maintaining the vitality of the vines through manual cultivation and natural methods, allowing the full expression of the terroir to be revealed.
In winemaking, the winery adheres to a low-intervention philosophy, using natural yeasts for fermentation, minimizing human intervention, and refraining from clarification and filtration to preserve the most authentic character of each vineyard. The wines are renowned for their purity, elegance, and refinement, possessing the signature floral aromas, velvety palate, and delicate minerality of Chambolle-Musigny, making it one of the most noteworthy boutique wineries in recent years among Burgundy enthusiasts.
