Introduction: Château Les Roches is located in the Margaux area, a famous wine village on the left bank of Bordeaux. It was a fourth-class classified winery in 1855. The winery has a total of 70 hectares, the soil is mainly gravel, and the average age of the vines is about 30 years. It was acquired by the Ballande Group in 1999 and has been run by the group ever since. The group hired the famous winemaker Stephane Derenoncourt as the winery's winemaking consultant. He is one of the most influential winemaking consultants in the world. Many of the wines he produced, including Château Talbot, Domaine de Chevalier, Château Pavie-Macquin and Château Canon-la-Gaffelière, have received full marks from Robert Parker, which shows his superb winemaking skills. 2010 is an excellent year for the entire Bordeaux region. The wine has a high concentration, but the tannins are soft and layered. The style is powerful yet so fresh and pure on the palate, suggesting amazing cellaring potential.

Winemaking process: After the grapes are ripe, the winery will determine the harvesting order of each plot through precise monitoring and laboratory analysis. The grapes are picked manually and will go through initial screening in the vineyard, manual screening in the winery, and re-sorting with optical instruments to ensure that the healthiest and ripest wine grapes are obtained. During the winemaking process, Pianissin Winery uses 15 concrete tanks of different sizes and 10 temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks of different sizes for alcoholic fermentation of the wine. During fermentation, winemakers will try to extend the fermentation time as much as possible and use a gentle fermentation method to obtain abundant and silky tannins. After that, the wine will be macerated, and the maceration time will vary depending on the characteristics of the wine. Subsequently, the authentic wine will undergo malolactic fermentation in new oak barrels. It then ages for 16 months. During the aging process, the winemaker will conduct tasting from time to time and adjust the brewing method in time according to the state of the wine in order to stabilize the structure of the wine.
