In addition to producing Grand Cru Classé red wines, Chateau Faugeres released its first vintage of white wine in 2014, made from equal proportions of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Sauvignon Gris. This white wine was produced on a very small terroir of only 1.65 hectares, adjacent to renowned estates like Fleur Cardinale and Valandrau, and was produced in low-yield quantities. Production ceased in 2020, as the focus shifted to producing higher-priced, premium red wines. This wine boasts a fresh and fragrant flavor profile, with aromas of lemon, white flowers, almond, and cream. The palate is vibrant, mineral-rich, and has a long finish.

Chateau Faugeres, located in the Saint-Emilion appellation, dates back to 1823 when the Guisez family purchased the vineyards. Since then, Chateau Faugeres has remained under the family's control.
In 1987, Pierre-Bernard Guisez, also known as Peby, and his wife Corinne inherited the estate. The couple worked together diligently, dedicated to high quality and nurturing the exceptional terroir. With the help of Michel Rolland and through tireless efforts, the quality of the wines has significantly improved.
In 1998, Peby passed away at the young age of 52. In his memory, his wife and daughters continuously strived to improve winemaking, eventually establishing Chateau Peby Faugeres and simultaneously managing Chateau Faugeres.
Since 2000, the wines of Chateau Faugeres and Chateau Peby Faugeres have been recognized as top-tier wines. Robert Parker considered the 2000 vintage of Chateau Faugeres to be "one of the finest vintages."
The Guisez family owns three wineries: Chateau Faugeres, Chateau Peby Faugeres, and Chateau Cap de Faugeres. In March 2005, Silvio Denz acquired the estate. A perfumer, wine enthusiast, and owner of the renowned Lalique crystal brand, Silvio Denz also owns two wine companies in Zurich, Switzerland, one of which is Denz Weine, Switzerland's largest wine auction house. In addition to the Chateau Cap de Faugeres vineyard on the Castillon hillside, Silvio Denz is also a shareholder of Chateau Rocheyron, owned by winemaker Peter Sisseck, and Montepeloso, in Tuscany, Italy, owned by Fabio Chiarelotto.
