Aroma and Palate: A more refined fragrance than yuzu, featuring a gentle, refreshing citrus sweetness balanced by a perfectly appetising acidity. Even when paired with richly flavoured dishes, it instantly refreshes the palate.

Established in 1805, Nagano Oto boasts over 200 years of history. Its name was bestowed by a high priest of the World Heritage site, Enryaku-ji Temple on Mount Hiei. Lake Biwa, the Mother Lake, is a magnificent place of natural beauty. Located in Katata Village, Ōtsu City, Shiga Prefecture, a small lakeside community, it is here that you can hear the sounds of Lake Biwa. Nagano Oto is a small sake brewery, so we focus on small-batch production. Our entire family pours our hearts into brewing sake. We craft Nagano Oto sake to offer you a sense of ‘swallowing your relaxation’ – we hope it becomes your companion drink during moments of rest.
