Appellation/Rank:Speyside,Scotland Scotland
Alcohol content: 40 per cent
Capacity: 700ml
Cask : Bourbon Cask ,Sherry Cask : Triple Cask

Casks are the soul of whisky, and Tamnavulin not only boasts an outstanding double-cask maturation process, but also introduces the Sherry Cask Edition, which raises the level of decanting to an extraordinary level!
It has gone through time to produce a perfect blend that is not heavy but sweet. The wine is a golden, copper-coloured liquid, aged quietly in an isolated winery: it is first nurtured in American white oak Bourbon Casks and then slowly aged in three different Sherry Casks.
Aroma: Attractive aromas of vanilla, caramel, banana and milk chocolate with a hint of rawness.
Palate: On the palate, a warm, orangey sweetness with a lingering aftertaste; overall warmth and charm, with a well-defined and distinctive flavour that lingers on the palate.

In the midst of Speyside, one of the world's most famous whisky regions, lies a hidden distillery. Tucked away in the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains, deep in the heart of Speyside, it was rarely visited by tourists, so few people, apart from the locals, knew that there was a whisky distillery here.
In 1966, a whisky distillery was built here, called Tamnavulin in Tamarind.
The name Tamnavulin means ‘Mill on the Hill’ in Gaelic, and the unique climate and pure water make Tamnavulin's whisky Speyside sweet.
In this star-studded region, Tamnavulin is like a hermit, being located deep in the cloudy hills of the region and focusing on traditional distilling instead of promotion. However, his single malt is truly representative of the region, gentle and elegant, relatively light and sweet, and a whisky that even a first-timer can fall in love with.
The Hermit of Nirvana: Tamarind Ridge
In an era of accelerated development, the Tamarind distillery was particularly rebellious and dared to go against the grain. It closed down in 1995 and remained closed for more than a decade before returning to the public eye in 2007 after a complete refurbishment and replacement of its equipment.
With its advanced equipment and highly skilled brewing team, Tamarind Single Malt has been recognised by the European market as one of the rising stars of the Solvay scene in just over a decade. The distillery is led by Head Distiller Gareth Morgan, who controls all aspects of the distillery from milling to maturation. The water used is one of Scotland's purest springs, purified from ancient limestone formations; the traditional second distillation brings out the classic flavours of the region; and the distillery's oak casks are carefully selected for maturation, allowing the richness of the flavours to meld together in the right way.
A beautiful thing can always shine!
In August 2007, after 12 years in storage, Tamerlane was returned to production with new distillation stills. No longer just an anonymous hero hiding behind a blended whisky, the distillery began to make its presence known to the world with the launch of its own whisky.
