Château Bernadotte is one of the Cru Bourgeois in the Haut-Medoc region of Bordeaux, France. Vineyards on the left bank of the Bernadotte estate cover an area of 35 hectares and are planted with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot. The terroir is gravel and sand, with some clay in the soil. The average age of the vineyard vines is 25 years, and the density of vines is 6,500 grapes per hectare. In order to produce Chateau Bernadotte wines, winemaking is performed in 23 large temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, malolactic fermentation is performed in tanks, and then Chateau Bernadotte wines are aged in 30% new French oak barrels for 12 to 18 months.
