Chateau Andoyse du Hayot has been owned by the du Hayot family for generations. It is located in the heart of Haut-Barsac (Haut-Barsac), Bordeaux, France, on splendid clay and limestone soils, with vines averaging 35 years old. The vineyard covers more than 20 hectares and is planted with grape varieties of the traditional Sauternes noble rot sweet wine: 90% Sémillon and 10% Sauvignon. Hand picking lasts 5 weeks; the "successful sorting" method means 2 to 4 pickings per plot. This Chateau Andoyse du Hayot is produced by Chateau Romer du Hayot, a second-class winery located in the Barsac region.
