【產區 Region】

Chateau Lynch-Bages vineyards are situated in Pauillac, the heart of the Médoc region, home to three of the four First Growth estates, a testament to the exceptional terroir of the estate. The vineyards cover 100 hectares, with 94 hectares planted with 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. The average vine age is 30 years, with the oldest vines reaching 60 years. The soil is predominantly gravelly, mixed with sandy loam and clay, with a clay subsoil. This well-drained, poor-quality soil structure encourages the vines to root deeply, absorbing more nutrients and resulting in complex and intensely flavorful fruit. The creation of a top-tier wine depends on exceptional terroir, meticulous vineyard management, and precise winemaking techniques. At Château Régis, all grapes are hand-harvested after ripening and undergo multiple selection processes before being used for winemaking.
【有關釀造 Winemaking】

Lynch Bages, covering 100 hectares, needs no introduction for its world-renowned red wines. However, the winery only cultivates 7 hectares of white grapes, including Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Muscadelle. After aging, the wines are aged in oak barrels for six months, half of which are new barrels. Due to the extremely limited production, only 1,000 cases are made each year, which explains why the wine prices have soared.
