Tasting Notes: Bright pale gold in appearance, with intense stone fruit (peach, apricot) and tropical fruit aromas, complemented by a hint of citrus (lime and grapefruit). These aromas are complemented by spicy undertones in the background, imparting elegant and herbal notes (hay, fig) alongside a rich diversity of fennel. Well-balanced acidity lends freshness, leading to a long, powerful finish. The aftertaste carries herbal and spicy notes with distinct citrus accents (grapefruit and lime) – exceptionally balanced!!

Winery Profile: A young entrepreneur named Eduardo Poza set out to develop an ambitious product to redefine the identity of the Verdejo grape. As a lifelong enthusiast of Verdejo wines, he founded "VERDEAL," a modern brand focused on the DO Rueda region, which possesses its own varietal characteristics and DNA. Verdeal is an ongoing project designed to satisfy sophisticated palates, create a timeless brand, and remain committed to its geographical region as a symbol and identity—the Verdeal Flower.

20 DE ABRIL is Verdeal's new release, named after April 20th to commemorate the birthdate of Eduardo Poza's daughter, the winery's founder. Cultivated with organic care and natural techniques to enhance aromatic intensity, palate, and antioxidant protection. Flavors feature stone fruits, tropical fruits, and delicate citrus notes. Exceptional value, also suitable for vegetarians.

Verdejo ("Vurr-day-ho") is a rare, light-bodied white wine grown almost exclusively in Spain. This wine serves as an excellent alternative to Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio, undergoing remarkable flavor transformations with age. Verdejo produces subtle yet captivating white wines with notes of lime, Meyer lemon, grapefruit, grass, fennel, and citrus blossoms. While often compared to Sauvignon Blanc, it truly deserves its own category. Unlike most white wines, Verdejo continues to improve with years of bottle aging, where it develops a rich texture and flavor reminiscent of toasted Marcona almonds, complemented by bright acidity. Hints of grassiness and aniseed bitterness emerge on the finish.
