Borderies is the oldest cru but also the smallest of the appellation: less than 5% of the AOC Cognac!
With 188ha, the Camus family has the largest area of vineyards within the cru belonging to a single producer. The unique clay-limestone soils, rich in flint, give rise to a VSOP Single Estate Cognac with deep floral notes.
To be enjoyed as an aperitif or digestif, on the rocks, with a tonic or in a cocktail.
For five generations, the reputation of Camus cognacs is closely linked to their conviction: to pass on passion, heritage, tradition, know-how and excellence decade after decade. As an independent family business since 1863, they defend this philosophy without compromise. Extraordinarily passionate, one can recognize in them craftsmen in search of the most absolute refinement.
Supported by tradition, they do not rest on their laurels and remain at the forefront of innovation to take their cognacs to new heights of aromatic intensity.
The superior quality of their cognacs is partly due to a distillation method they invented and patented, which allows them to select the most aromatic fractions of liquid during the second distillation, rich in esters and responsible for the most intense fruity aromas. These are then complemented by deep floral notes and well-balanced woody notes.
Their cognacs are thus up to 7 times more aromatic than in a standard distillation. Camus Cognacs are an invitation to explore a world of refined creation and intense aromas.
