Barolo ,Amarone ,Brunello di Montalcino. …
Everyone is familiar with these popular wines
But when everyone is drinking these popular wine regions, it is difficult to highlight their own taste
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean to be slanted and show off uniqueness, but I suggest you get in touch with those wine regions that Italians attach great importance to but few people in Hong Kong mention.
This time, Paolo, the representative of Cantina Orsogna winery, is invited to introduce the flagship wine of the winery, Nican Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva
【The region where Montepulciano grapes reach their peak - Abruzzo】
The large temperature difference between day and night in the Abruzzo mountain area allows the grapes to retain more complex aromas and bright acidity while reaching ripeness
Montepulciano is a relatively heavy tannin, rich and juicy, with the ability to age, relatively strong and powerful
Although Montepulciano is a fairly common grape in Italy, Montepulciano in the Abruzzo region definitely has the strength to enter the world stage
Full-bodied and oaky, with flavors of blackberry, plum, dark chocolate, earth, leather and a touch of black pepper, the wine is full-bodied and has a pronounced tannin structure
If friends want to highlight their wine selection vision, remember that in addition to the most famous ABBC in Italy, there is also an A (Abruzzo) that cannot be ignored.
