Tasting Notes: A deep ruby hue. Complex aromas of ripe red fruit, blackcurrant, raspberry, cherry, and licorice. The palate is a perfect blend of oak, toasty notes, and vanilla. Full-bodied and rich, with ripe tannins. A perfect balance of fruit and spice, with a long and sweet finish.

Rival Bellevue is produced by fourth-generation winemaker Alain Bessette at Château La Verriere. Alain Bessette possesses exceptional winemaking skills, consistently appearing on the list of "Bordeaux Super Talents," and is one of the few Bordeaux winemakers who truly understand the modern world. The estate currently covers 75 hectares and has consistently practiced sustainable farming methods, transitioning to organic viticulture in 2021. Located outside the village of Landerrouat in the Entre-Deux-Mers Far East, near the Dordogne region, Rival Bellevue, like most Bordeaux wines, is a Merlot-based blend with 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon for added structure. Rival Bellevue is a soft, mature, and textured wine, dominated by sweet wild berry flavors, perfectly balanced with notes of toast, licorice, and spicy oak.
