【Chateau Courbin Heritage】

A family winery from the Graves district of Bordeaux. Formerly known as the "Cru de l'Hermitage", the estate was engaged in agriculture and livestock. In 1972, under the leadership of Mr. Michel COURBIN, the father of the current owner, he launched his own winery for the first time. Word of mouth does the rest...Through this unique marketing channel, the property of our wines and the number of loyal consumers are able to grow throughout France.

The current owner Franck COURBIN is the eldest son in the family. After graduating from agricultural school in Bordeaux, his younger brother Stephane also attended the same school and joined the winery in 2008.

The winery's vineyard now covers an area of 15 hectares: 7 hectares are planted with white grapes and 8 hectares are planted with red grape vines. The average age of the grapevines is about 50 years. Grape varieties are typical Bordeaux grape varieties, Sémillon, Sauvignon, Muscadelle, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon. The plots are located on different soil types (gravel, sand, clay-limestone), allowing them to express different terroir characteristics and produce wines with aromatic complexity.
