It is blended from high-quality original wines from the four major production areas of France: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Haute Forest and Baobo. The original wine from Shanglin District uses a residue-free distillation process, which gives the wine a delicate floral aroma; while the original wine from the other three major production areas uses a residue-based distillation process, which gives the wine a mellow and rich taste. Exquisite maturation technology is combined with hand-selected oak barrels, and the barrel is aged for 12 years to create a mellow wine aroma.

Courvoisier is a famous French luxury cognac brand named after its founder Félix Courvoisier. Its headquarters is located in Jarnac, Charente, France. Jarnac is also known as "Napoleon Cognac".

The Chinese name of Courvoisier brandy is called Napoleon because its founder was very familiar with Napoleon and often sent fine wine to the palace for banquets. Therefore, this wine is known as "Napoleon's wine".

In 1811, Napoleon stayed at the Napoleon Cognac House and took away some brandy as needed by the artillery troops during the Napoleonic Wars to boost morale. The most legendary and well-known story about Napoleon Cognac is that when Napoleon was exiled to the island of Saint Helena, he brought several barrels of Courvoisier Cognac with him. These barrels of Cognac were damaged during the voyage. The British officers accompanying Napoleon praised it, and they affectionately called it "The Cognac of Napoleon". From then on, people called this brandy "Napoleon Cognac". Today Napoleon's silhouette serves as the hallmark of all Courvoisier cognacs.

Courvoisier has received several awards, including the title of Light of France in 1983, the title of XO of the World at the International Wine Competition in 1986, and the Cyril Ray Trophy in 1994 for the best cognac in the XO Empire.
