The estate is situated on the Wine Route, in the northern part of the Alsace vineyards, nestled within the charming village of Wolxheim. Vineyards are visible across the surrounding hillsides.

The estate's vineyards span over 18 acres, comprising 40 parcels primarily within Wolxheim village, with some extending into the neighbouring towns of Avolsheim and Molsheim.

The estate holds deep reverence for the annual bounty of the land, tending the vines with fervent passion and meticulous care while minimising pesticide use. Daily meticulous cultivation, attentive tending, and careful nurturing enable the vines to thrive, ultimately achieving optimal yield. The estate favours ploughing and patch-grass planting over total weed removal. These techniques compel the vines to root deeper into the soil, maximising the expression of the vineyard's complex terroir and yielding wines of the highest quality.

Sheltered by the Vosges mountains, the estate enjoys abundant sunshine and scarce rainfall. The diversity of soils and subsoils – marl, limestone, gypsum, clay, sandstone – is fully expressed and interpreted in the wines. Nestled at the foot of the Vosges, the vineyards possess all the conditions conducive to exceptional development. This natural environment provides ideal conditions for revealing its treasure: high-quality grapes.

Once the grapes have ripened, the harvest period lasts over a month. The picking process follows a meticulously planned schedule to achieve the optimal balance of sugar content. This not only lends precision to the wine but also enhances its aromatic potential. The extended harvest period allows us to pick grapes at peak ripeness for each variety and vineyard plot. To better preserve grape integrity, the estate established an in-house harvesting team, whose core members have remained consistent over the years. They have accumulated extensive skills and expertise, adding depth to our wines. 

The Regin family has resided in Volxheim for over a century. The family's history of owning vineyards dates back to the early twentieth century. Joseph Regin, born in 1891, primarily managed his estate using mixed farming methods, cultivating several acres of vines alongside his other crops.

Joseph and his son Justin worked on the farm for many years. Later, to breathe new life into the estate, Justin gradually abandoned mixed farming to focus solely on developing the vineyards. Inspired by the expertise and vital skills he had acquired, Justin began bottling and selling his own wines in the mid-1970s.

Justin's younger son, André, had initially prepared neither for a career as a viticultural enthusiast nor as a meticulous winemaker. Yet life's circumstances altered his path. After studying electronics, he returned to the family estate in 1980 to work alongside his parents in the vineyards. Following his parents' untimely passing, he soon felt isolated. Through proactive drive, unwavering resolve and boundless passion, he gradually increased the estate's sales and expanded the vineyard's scale. His wife Catherine resigned from her job to join and support him. Young and ambitious, they staked everything on courage and determination. Working in unison, they modernised the estate and steadily expanded its operations.

Their eldest son, Thomas, studied biology and is currently specialising in oenology at the College of Dijon.
