The history of the winery is integrated with the revival of the Chablis vineyards. Olivier's father Jean-Pierre Tricon and his uncle Claude planted their first vines in 1972. They subsequently acquired several parcels of land, culminating in a 13-hectare estate. The Vaurou farm, located in the Chablis heights, was mainly used for the cultivation of vines at that time, the vineyard terroir was the famous Kimmerdgian - clay-limestone, and the average age of the vines was 20 years old。

The current owner, Olivier Tricorn, is also a builder, and he knows that a stable building can only be built on a solid foundation. Beginning as a simple vineyard worker on his father's estate, he has maintained a deep respect for the generations before him. In 1998 he purchased DOMAINE DE VAUROUX and continued to develop the estate. All the soul OLIVIER TRICON instills in each of his cuvées, reflecting 35 years of work. After harvest, the grapes are taken to the cellar and sorted to preserve their aroma and taste potential. Gentle pressing extracts the best essence from the fruit. Most fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats. OLIVIER TRICON's goal is to ensure that his wines have the greatest aromatic elegance. Over the years, it has acquired a powerful tool for modern work. From harvest to bottling, strict hygiene requirements ensure that each cuvée tastes at the highest level.
