Full of red and black fruit aromas, as well as a hint of graphite and violets. Juicy, delicate tannins, fresh blackcurrant and violet spices exude in the mouth, and a hint of woody aroma in the aftertaste adds complexity to the wine, making it full and structured.

Domaine du Prince is located in the wine region of southwest France and is owned by the Jouves family. Legend has it that the ancestors of the Jouves family once delivered wine to the King of France or the Russian Tsar. After returning, the villagers gave him the nickname "Lou Prince" (Prince) because he had met the king. It was not until 1947 that the Jouves family's farm began to be a mixed farming and breeding farm. The land was planted with phylloxera-resistant Malbec. From then on, the products of the estate were produced and sold by the local Parnac wine farming cooperative. In 1971, the Appellation of Origin (AOC) was awarded to Cahors, and it was at this time that the Jouves family decided to bottle and sell the products of their own winery. At present, the winery is mainly managed by Didier of the Jouves family.

Domaine du Prince has 27 hectares of vineyards located around the village of Cournou in Cahors in the Southwest wine region. The soil of the vineyard is clay-limestone soil. The vineyard is planted with classic traditional grape varieties of the Southwest wine region, including red grape varieties such as Malbec, Merlot and Tannat.

The Cahors region is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The maritime climate, Mediterranean climate and continental climate all have a certain influence on this region. Therefore, the summer here is warmer and sunnier than Bordeaux. The phenolic substances in the grapes can reach full maturity here, providing suitable conditions for growing varieties with abundant tannins such as Malbec and Tannat. Cahors is famous for its dark-colored and tannin-rich "black wine". Many wines brewed locally have both the traditional style and modern flavor of Malbec, with the typical aroma of violets and cherry brandy, accompanied by the breath of plums and chocolate, and the silky taste of Mendoza Malbec, which is very juicy and delicious.
