Duchessa Lia Winery was established in 1953 when Francesco Capetta, founder of the Capetta family, built the first winery in the town of Santo Stefano Belbo, at the heart of Italy's Piedmont region. Situated at Corso Piave 140, this gateway to the Langhe region is now managed by the third generation of the Capetta family, who passionately preserve and elevate Piedmont's winemaking heritage. As Italy's largest producer and distributor of Piedmontese wines, Duchessa Lia focuses on environmentally sustainable cultivation and hand-picked harvests, strictly adhering to DOC and DOCG regulations.
