Deep and intense aromas of blueberry, violet, and flowers. Spices of violet and a hint of asphalt emerge. Malbec and Cabernet Franc are co-fermented. Full-bodied, round and rich on the palate, with fine tannins and a long finish.

Wine Advocate – 92 points

The 2019 Glencore, aged in 100% new French oak barrels, still retains some oak flavor. The blending ratios vary slightly each year. The 2019 blend consisted of 55% Malbec, 40% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Syrah. These grapes were fully ripe, resulting in an alcohol content of 14.5%, which gives the wine a mature and rich palate, slightly intoxicating, powerful yet balanced and harmonious, with abundant and delicate tannins. 10,000 bottles were bottled in October 2021.

A blended red wine from the Mendoza region of Argentina, Malbec brings a rich taste, while Cabernet Franc brings an elegant and subtle taste, with very soft tannins and rose aroma. All these ingredients provide the complexity and elegance necessary for fine wines.

【Flechas de Los Andes - Arrows of the Andes】

Flechas de los Andes is located in the Uco Valley production area in Mendoza, Argentina, and is an outstanding Malbec production area. The winery was founded by Baron Benjamin de Rothschild and Mr. Laurent Dassault of the Edmond De Rothschild family. The wine produced follows the concept of "Wine Estate", and grape planting began in 1999. It covers an area of nearly 102 hectares and can be divided into 48 plots in total.

The plants are treated with care at each stage of development in four different seasons, so we see consistent quality over time and future wines that express the purity of the terroir. Flechas de Los Andes uses natural practices that respect the environment. We use all different resources to guarantee high quality standards for our grapes. With an average altitude of over 1,000 meters above sea level, the vines are irrigated through a drip system to avoid wasting water in a semi-desert climate with limited water resources. The resulting wines have an elegant tannic structure, intense aroma, flavor and colour, as well as ample acidity, ensuring freshness and excellent aging potential.
