The wine comes from Carneros' own vineyards in Sonoma Valley, California, USA. It has smoky and earthy notes, typical of the Carneros style. The strawberry and cherry fruit notes blend very well with the bay and a hint of mint. Bright, lively acidity adds nice dimension to the wine.

A tight and muscular pinot with plenty of dried strawberry and hints of cherry and redwood. Medium to full body, chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. Needs a year or two to soften. But solid. Drink or hold.

【Gloria Ferrer】

Founder José Ferrer produces premium sparkling wines using traditional methods in the New World. In the 1980s, he and his wife Gloria moved from Barcelona, Spain to Sonoma, California, in search of the best region for making sparkling wine. In 1986 they decided to settle down in Carneros, bought land in the mountains and operated the winery in the name of his wife Gloria Ferrer. The biggest feature of Gloria Ferrer's winemaking is its insistence on brewing traditional Spanish "Cava" style sparkling wine.

Carneros straddles Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley, with maritime influences from the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay. These bodies of water and corresponding ocean currents produce cool summer temperatures and mild winter temperatures. The long growing season allows the grapes to ripen slowly and continuously. Home and Circle Bar. The 207-acre Home Ranch features five different soil types and elevations ranging from 50 to 325 feet. Circle Bar Ranch is comprised of 128 acres of 13 different parcels with eight different soil types and elevations ranging from 50 feet to 280 feet.
