High Commissioner Blended Scotch Whisky is a whiskey blended with the best grains and malts. The taste is very diverse, with peach and plum fruit flavors, and a bit of chewy caramel flavor. Combining the sweet fruity aroma with the aroma of malt, the taste is rich and balanced, and the aftertaste is soft, warm and long. High Commissioner Blended Scotch Whiskv can be regarded as the best example of blended Scottish whiskey under the Loch Lomond Group!

Loch Lomond Distillery is located in a small mountain village called Alexandria in the Highlands of Scotland, UK.

The old Loch Lomond Distillery was established on the northern bank of Loch Lomond. Its history of distilling whisky can be traced back to 1814. Due to the scarcity of written records at that time, it is impossible to verify when it was closed. In 1964, the former director of Littlemill Distillery established the current Loch Lomond Distillery in Bowling, a few kilometers away from Glasgow, and began production in 1966. In 1982, Amalgated Distilled Products acquired Loch Lomond, but just two years later, the distillery ceased operations. In 1985, Glen Catrine Bonded Warehouse LTD. acquired the distillery and resumed production in 1987.

Initially, Loch Lomond only produced malt whisky. In 1993, the distillery installed a Coffee Still and began to produce grain whisky, greatly increasing Loch Lomond's output. In 1994, the Grain Distillery at Loch Lomond went into production, making it the only distillery in Scotland at the time that could produce both grain and malt whisky. Not only that, Loch Lomond also had a unique set of three sets of distillers. In the same year, Glen Catrine took over the Glen Scotia Distillery in Campbeltown. In 2014, Loch Lomond and its large bottling plant in Glen Catrine and Glen Scotia Distillery in Ayrshire were acquired by the private company Exponent. In 2019, it was jointly controlled by China's Hillhouse Capital and Jiang Xiaobai, becoming an important step in the global layout. The group also owns Glen Scotia and the remaining original wine resources of the closed Little Mill Distillery, covering the Highlands, Campbelltown and Lowlands.

Loch Lomond has a very large mash tank, 10 fermentation tanks with a capacity of 25,000 liters and 11 fermentation tanks with a capacity of 50,000 liters, as well as 12 fermentation tanks of 100,000 liters and 8 fermentation tanks of 200,000 liters for the production of grain whiskey. In addition, the distillery has 8 stills for the production of malt whiskey, of which 2 are traditional copper stills and the other 6 are modified Lomond Stills. The Lomond Still has a unique cylindrical bottleneck with a tray installed on the bottleneck that can directly contact the condensed alcohol gas. This device improves production efficiency and can distill liquor with an alcohol concentration of 90%, while the alcohol concentration of liquor produced by common stills is 70%. Moreover, this type of distiller can also give different flavors to liquors with different alcohol concentrations, which is an effect that ordinary continuous distiller cannot achieve. At the same time, the distillery also has column stills for producing grain whiskey. Loch Lomond is one of the only four distilleries in Scotland that has a cooperage. The barrels used for matured whiskey in the distillery will be processed in the distillery's cooperage and then carbonized according to standards, so that the whiskey can be given the unique flavor of Loch Lomond Distillery.
