This whisky is a blend of liquors from all over Scotland, aged in bourbon barrels, hogshead barrels and sherry barrels. This is a blended whisky with a malt-based flavor, with the aroma of undergrowth and old wood on the nose. With an alcohol content of 43%, the taste is still alcoholic, but also a little watery, with the flavors of mushrooms, moist wood and a slight seafood shell. The aftertaste has the aroma of sandalwood and tar.

King Robert II is a Scottish blended whisky brand under Ian Macleod Distillers. The brand is not an independent distillery, but is blended with raw liquor from several well-known distilleries under the parent company.
Ian Macleod Distillers was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Glasgow, Scotland. It is a family-owned business. Through the acquisition of several historic distilleries, it has gradually developed into an important Scottish whisky producer. It owns well-known distilleries such as Glengoyne, Tamdhu, Inchgower, and operates several blended whisky brands including King Robert II.
King Robert II is named after Robert II, the founder of the Stuart dynasty in Scotland in the 14th century. The brand was founded in 1933 and is positioned as a cost-effective blended whisky. Its products are a blend of malt and grain whiskies from the Highlands, Lowlands, Islands and Speyside regions of Scotland, aged in sherry barrels and bourbon barrels, showing oak, spice and dried fruit flavors.
