Chateau Lagrange Pomerol is located in the Pomerol wine region of Bordeaux, France. It was acquired by Jean-Pierre Moueix from the Pecresse family in 1953 and is now owned by the Moueix family (owners of many top estates on the right bank of Bordeaux, including Chateau Hosanna, Chateau Petrus, Chateau La Fleur-Petrus, and Chateau Trotanoy).

The winery covers an area of ​​9.2 hectares and grows mainly 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. In 2012, the vineyard nearly doubled in size. Since the winery is now mainly a hotel model without winemaking facilities, the wine brewing is handed over to Chateau Trotanoy, and the Chateau Trotanoy brewing team is responsible for brewing the original people who brewed Chateau Petrus.

Two laser sorting stations have been in use since 2009. The winery uses traditional temperature-controlled concrete vats for fermentation, and since 2004 has added some stainless steel tanks where malolization takes place.

Chateau Lagrange Pomerol (20% to 25%) is aged in new French oak barrels for an average of 18 to 24 months. Annual production is close to 2,000 cases.
