Le Piano is located in a valley 400-500 meters high, and the winery is right at the highest point of the Montecucco district!The entire valley was purchased by the young farmer Filippo and his father in 1990, and the valley covers a total of 165 hectares.Recognized as a nature reserve by the National Park Service, Le Piano is a certified organic farm with a fully protected natural environment.Le Piano is located on the slopes of Monte Amiata, where streams flow and are surrounded by woods full of vibrant animals.

We have personally visited the winery and indeed set foot on the land of the vineyard. We can proudly tell you that [Le Piano] is definitely a boutique winery worthy of being discovered and appreciated.

Only 1.5 hectares of 65 hectares of land are used to grow grapes, all because the owner, Filipo, wants more habitat for wild animals.

Obviously, every inch of land can be converted into more tangible benefits, but they choose to protect nature and defend their philosophy.

Perhaps it was the lofty concept that touched nature, and nature gave back to [Le Piano] their unique body and aroma. It is no wonder that both the WC team and those who first tasted [Le Piano] wines were moved by it.

A follower of the biodynamic method who asks for trouble for the sake of nature regardless of labor costs.

A guardian who built several pools in the valley for the sake of wild animals.

A believer who thought of carving stone statues in order to conserve natural water sources.
