Madame Veuve Point, born into a winemaking family, became a widow at the age of 26 in 1903. After her husband's death, she devoted herself to winemaking while raising her children, constantly striving for excellence and establishing herself in a winemaking world where female winemakers were not highly regarded. In 1904, she took her Burgundy wines on a six-month voyage to the St. Louis World's Fair, where they won the "Award for Excellence"! This laid the groundwork for her future success.

Now, under the leadership of the fifth-generation female owner, Géraldine Point, the winery remains female-driven, dedicated to creating elegant, feminine wines! In recent years, many of the winery's wines have begun to receive awards and ratings! Besides recognition from numerous international women's wine competitions, the International Wine Challenge, and Wine Enthusiast awards, the winery's Volnay Premier Cru Clos de Chenes 2019 even received a Decanter Platium score of 97 points!! Such a high score demonstrates its immense potential.

The winery's use of oak barrels is exquisite. To avoid overpowering the grapes' natural aromas with an overly strong oak flavor, they use no more than 10% new barrels and employ a blend of oak and stainless steel tanks. During aging, the new barrels absorb a significant amount of wine—a phenomenon known as "the angels share." The winery pays close attention to this detail, continuously adding wine to prevent excessive oxidation and maintain a pure, feminine house style that reflects the unique terroir. Depending on the wine, aging in barrels lasts 10-24 months.

📍Tasting Notes：
This wine boasts a deep gold hue, clear and radiant. Its bouquet offers a rich and varied aromatic palette, blending mineral notes with hints of hazelnut and almond, citrus, peach, fern, and linden, accentuated by undertones of honey and buttery brioche. On the palate, it stands out with a full and harmonious structure, combining elegance, finesse, and remarkable distinction.
