【Marcel Deheurles et Fils】

Located in the heart of the Côte des Bars sub-appellation of Champagne, Marcel Deheurles et Fils has been dedicated to the production and promotion of Champagne for decades. Marcel Deheurles and his wife, Annick, founded the eponymous house in 1970. In 2006, their son, Benoît, inherited the family business and continues the family tradition. He now serves as both winemaker and sales representative.

Adhering to a philosophy of respect for nature, the house manages seven hectares of vineyards, cultivating the three legal varieties of Champagne: Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. The winery has been awarded the High Environmental Value (HVE) certification.

【Terroir Philosophy】

Benoît inherited his passion and expertise for terroir from his parents, a legacy that stretches back to his ancestors. He maintains a deep respect for the land and employs a quality-focused, rational viticulture approach. He constantly monitors the grapes' growth and only treats them when necessary, ensuring they thrive naturally and healthily.

Benoît firmly believes that "fine wines come from a deep understanding of the terroir," and to this end, he devotes meticulous attention to researching and caring for the land to maximize its potential. He began conducting comprehensive terroir surveys in his first year and continues to closely monitor grape ripeness, accurately determining harvest timing to ensure the perfect concentration of flavor. "Excellence, Passion, and Respect for Terroir" have become the winery's unwavering motto.
