Mars Whisky Shinshu Distillery is part of the Hombo Group of distillers from Kagoshima, founded in 1872 by seven brothers of the Hombo family, and has been an extremely important distillery group in Japan for 140 years. Mars Shinshu Distillery is also a treasure trove in the history of Japanese whisky, with a history that is inextricably linked to that of Suntory and Nikka, and is further illustrated by the three pillars of Nikkei's glory!

Shinshu Distillery is located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, at an altitude of 798 metres in a deep valley, is the highest altitude distillery in all of Japan, the whisky produced is absolutely beautiful, the cool temperature slows down the pace of maturation, granite filtering snowmelt water source (aquifer) the overall performance of the elegant and delicate, rich, layered flavour fascinating. This is because only beautiful water can produce whisky of the highest quality. The natural, low level development of the distillery, coupled with the limited production, has created a layer of mystery.

Mars Whisky has collaborated with the Lamigo Taoso Professional Baseball Team to launch a whisky under the theme "YOKOSO! This limited edition of 1,500 bottles (700ml) was selected and blended by Mars Whisky's head bartender from thousands of casks of original whisky, and features a full sherry flavoured bouquet, rich and warming texture, and a finish that retains 48% of its powerful sweetness, making it the perfect choice for fans and whisky aficionados alike to enjoy or to cherish as a collector's item for their No. 10 teammates.
