About: Les Monts Poulains is a Bourgogne Blanc from the estate. The grapes are hand-harvested and aged for 12 months in 2- to 4-year-old oak barrels. The vineyard is located in the Le Mont-Poulain parcel in the commune of Pommard, at an altitude of approximately 300-350 meters, covering approximately 0.48 hectares. The soil is deep and slightly stony, composed primarily of alluvial soils and flood silt from the Saône River, rich in clay, which helps the vines adapt to the climate and maintain stable growth. The parcel, located near the border of Auxey-Duresses, slopes westward, creating a unique microclimate.

Domaine Moissenet-Bonnard, located in the prestigious village of Pommard in Burgundy, France, is a small, family-run domaine spanning approximately 6.29 hectares and dedicated to producing high-quality Burgundy wines. Founded in 1988 by Jean-Louis Moissenet, the son of a long-standing winemaking family, he previously managed the fruit and vegetable department at a supermarket before returning to family tradition and taking over the vineyards of his grandmother, Henri Lamarche. His daughter, Emmanuelle-Sophie Moissenet-Bonnard, has joined the family. Having previously worked in Switzerland, she has extensive vineyard management experience, emphasizing natural farming and soil biodiversity. The estate's vineyards span Pommard, Beaune, Meursault, and Puligny-Montrachet, primarily in the Pommard appellation, and encompass several Premier Crus.

The estate has been in the family for eight generations. Jean-Louis Moissenet took over from his mother in 1987, and in 2005, the estate expanded to Meursault and Auxey-Duresses. Today, it is jointly managed by Jean-Louis and his daughter, Emmanuelle-Sophie, who are committed to organic farming (non-certified) and environmental protection. The estate received HVE (High Environmental Value) certification in 2014, guaranteeing sustainable viticultural practices.

Pommard's premier crus Les Charmots and Les Pezerolles, along with the renowned one-hectare Les Epenots vineyard (some vines are up to 90 years old), produce nine red wines, four white wines, and a Crémant de Bourgogne sparkling wine. Primarily using Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, they are hand-harvested, destemmed, and aged using traditional methods to highlight the terroir. These wines are known for their elegance and power; for example, Pommard 1er Cru Les Epenots was awarded the three-star "coup de cœur" award by the Hachette Wine Guide.
