【Musar, the king of Lebanese wine】
Region/Class: Lebanon/Beqaa Valley
Grape Varieties: Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan
Alcohol: 13.5%
Volume: 750ml
Musar Red is the winery's most classic signature, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Cinsault blend, grapes from Bekaa Valley mature old vine vineyards; It was officially launched on the market for 7 years after harvesting. It is not as straightforward as ordinary new wine, but with black fruit, spices, leather, black olives and maturity.

Chateau Musar, the legendary wine king of Lebanon, experienced the continuous war in Lebanon from 1975 to 1990. With his perseverance, the helm of Musar, Serge, led the winery workers to brave the hail of bullets and brewed the wine that was enough to disdain his peers. In 1984, he was selected as the first "Man of the Year" by "Decanter Magazine" to commend the owner Serge for his ability to carry forward Lebanon's ancient winemaking culture despite the turmoil! ! Chateau Musar was the first winery in Lebanon to receive organic certification for its vineyards in 2006. The vineyards are located on the peaks of 3,000 feet above sea level. The tranquil and beautiful Bekaa Valley has 300 days of sunshine each year. The vineyards benefit from cool nights and Seasonal temperatures (it often snows in winter and can be hot in summer), which prolong the ripening period of the grapes. A wide range of soil types result in a wine's uniqueness and complexity. Its red wine is a blend of Bordeaux grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan. It is fermented at 30°C in a separate cement tank and transferred to French Nevers oak barrels for one year after six months of grape picking. Then after 1 year of bottle aging, the different grape varieties are mixed in cement tanks to reflect the strengths and personalities of the year. After mixing, it is bottled in the cellar for 3 to 4 years, and it is bottled without glue or filtration. It took seven years to be listed on the market. It is indeed very sincere. It also shows the dedication of the owner to quality.
