A deep, vibrant purple-red wine with pronounced aromas of blackberries, black cherries, and violets, accented by notes of dark chocolate, liquorice, and a hint of spice. The palate is full-bodied and structured, offering intense flavours of black fruit, plum, and cocoa, with firm yet polished tannins and a lively acidity. The mouthfeel is rich and concentrated, leading to a long, persistent finish with subtle earthy and floral undertones. The wine’s depth and complexity highlight the character of Mendoza’s mountain vineyards and the distincive qualities of Petit Verdot.

Mythic Winery belongs to Dartley Family Wines. Founded in 2007, Dartley Family Wines was inspired by the terroir of Mendoza and its wines. The founders, Peter and Karen Dartley, fell in love with the region and decided to invest in four different vineyards in Argentina's finest wine region, Mythic being one of them. Since 2012, Mythic Winery has been dedicated to creating unconventional wines. Mythic represents things that transcend common sense and perception; it's a product of human thought, imagination, curiosity, and exploration of the world. This is the inspiration behind the creation and name of Mythic Winery. Mythic Winery strives to break the rules of terroir and defy established definitions, allowing each vine to transcend its original expression, born to surpass. From Norse and Eastern mythology, in literature, fantasy, and legends… dragons are loyal guardians of treasure, just as Mythic Winery cherishes its wines. Therefore, Mythic Winery's choice of a dragon as its primary logo seems almost divinely ordained, reflecting its pursuit and dedication to the highest quality grapes.

Dartley Family Wines is located in Luhandé Cuyo, Argentina's most prestigious and oldest wine region, the birthplace of Marlbec. This unique region also boasts some extremely valuable Mendoza vineyards. Dartley Family Wines covers nearly 300 hectares, with 160 hectares dedicated to vineyards, nestled at the foot of the Andes Mountains at an altitude of approximately 3,100 feet (950 meters). Its four distinct vineyards each possess their own unique character and terroir. The pure air, deep soil, rich minerals, and over 300 days of sunshine annually create an ideal environment for grape cultivation. Dartley Family Wines grows Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Chardonnay here, the grapes for Mythic Winery's wines originating from this region.

The insights gained from exploring and discovering new varieties are the essence of Mythic Winery's value. Mythic's "universe" comprises six distinct series, employing diverse winemaking methods, from the mountains from which its irrigation water originates to the carefully selected micro-brewing barrels. Mythic Winery is committed to creating a diverse range of winemaking approaches, much more.
