Remy Martin is one of France's oldest cognac brands, with its most iconic spirit being Louis XIII. Remy Martin was officially founded by Remy Martin in 1724, nearly 300 years ago. The Remy Martin name is derived from the name of its founder and the Chinese name is derived from the Greek mythological image of the head of a horse, which is also the brand's logo, and it is the only cognac brand to be locally owned and operated in Cognac, and one of the few cognacs to grow its own grapes.
