Grape variety: 90% Semillon and 10% Sauvignon Blanc

Alcohol content: 12.5%

Aged briefly in French oak barrels for 1 month and on lees for another 4 months. The aroma is fresh and elegant, floral and lightly toasted. The mouthfeel is round. It has the flavor of citrus peel and grapefruit.Flavor of pineapple, slightly flinty and mineral.

【Chateau Roquefort】

In 1976, husband-and-wife team Jean and Christiane Bellanger purchased Chateau Roquefort, breathing new life into the vineyard in Entre-Deux-Mers. The chateau was owned by the painter Alain de Condé, a descendant of the Condé family and a friend of Maurice Druon. Jean Bellanger purchased the winery, replanted the vineyards, and quickly adopted the best winemaking methods in cooperation with the Bordeaux Oenology School. In 1983, 30 hectares of grape planting was completed, and winemaking began in 1987. At present, Jean Bellanger's son Frédéric has joined the winery and has greatly expanded the winery's business and vineyard area to more than 240 hectares. In terms of terroir characteristics, it is said to be very similar to Saint-Emilion, another Bordeaux production area.
