He has over 20 years of brewing experience, having worked for Niigata Brewery, and has put that skill and passion into whisky making, ensuring the product is of the highest quality.

Shinobu Distillery combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with innovative technology to produce exceptional whiskey. This time, we will take an in-depth look at the background of Shinobu Distillery, its unique selling points, and why it has become a favorite among whisky and wine lovers aged 30-50.

Shinobu Distillery is particularly fond of using Mizunara wood barrels, which are unique to Japan, for aging. Mizunara is a wood native to Japan that brings unique flavors of sandalwood, coconut and oriental spices to whisky. This rare and expensive wood is highly sought after and its use in Shinobu's whiskies adds complexity and depth that sets it apart from other brands.
