Bombay Sapphire is a globally renowned premium felt wine brand, renowned for its unique craftsmanship, refined taste, and iconic blue bottle.

The brand's origins can be traced back to a 1761 British gin recipe. It was re-created and launched by Bacardi in 1987. In 1997, Bacardi acquired the brand from Diageo, further strengthening its global influence. As Bacardi's signature product, Bombay Sapphire is positioned as a premium London dry felt wine, targeting the high-end market and renowned for its creativity and quality.

Winemaking

This exclusive blend of 12 botanicals is carefully selected and slowly distilled to achieve a richer flavor. The recipe includes bitter almonds from Spain, angelica root from Saxony, Germany, cinnamon bark from Indochina, coriander from Morocco, citronella from Indonesia, sand of paradise from West Africa, lemon peel from Spain, licorice root from China, iris root from Florence, and juniper berries from Tuscany. Each ingredient is meticulously hand-selected. Using a unique "vapor infusion" technique, alcohol vapor is passed through a copper basket containing the botanicals to extract natural aromas, avoiding the impurities of traditional maceration methods and imparting a fresh, pure flavor.

The aroma is bright lemon and juniper, with a hint of woody herb. The taste is bright lemon, with a hint of coriander, and the juniper is soft at the end, with a licorice-like sweetness.
