Tasting Note: Shin Single Malt Whisky 10 Year Old, matured in Mizunara casks, exhibits pronounced sweet aromas of dark dried fruit (such as raisins) and full-bodied dates, with subtle hints of vanilla. The delicate vanilla and dark dried fruit are followed by sandalwood and oriental spices.

Distillery

Shin Blended Whisky is produced in collaboration with the Shinobu Distillery and slowly matured in the cool, dry climate of Niigata Prefecture, Japan, renowned for its three treasures of white spirits, surrounded by mountains. Shin Blended Whisky selects whisky from the world's top distilleries and ages it in premium sherry and bourbon casks to develop a rich and elegant body, before finally aging it in precious Mizunara oak casks. Shin Blended Whisky blends 50% malt and 50% grain spirits, a much higher ratio than typical blended whiskies, aiming to cultivate an elegant, unique, smooth, and refined taste.

"Shin" in Japanese means "honesty" and is a core symbol of the Japanese samurai spirit. Based on this belief, Shin Whisky insists on no artificial additives in its production process, ensuring that every drop is the most complete and matured flavor. Its rich, natural flavor makes it the perfect base for cocktails, immersing you in the Japanese lifestyle.
