Herbal flavour and smooth texture. The nose is bursting with the herbal floral aroma of chrysanthemums, tempting you to sip. On the palate, the sweet flavours of egg flower and sumac linger on, before building up to the rustic, rich herbal aromas of honeysuckle and kapok.
A tribute to Hong Kong's intangible cultural heritage, Five Flower Tea Felt Wine is inspired by the Five Flower Tea, a healing remedy with a long history in Hong Kong.
As Hong Kong's first locally distilled Felt Wine ╴Two Moons Signature Dry Gin is a blend of 12 different herbs, including citrus peel, apricot, liquorice and other local elements, which is a perfect fusion of Chinese and Western cultures. The flavours are rich and well-balanced, with the sweet, sour, bitter and spicy notes in every sip. Aromas of lemon and citrus peel come to the nose, while vanilla and the sweet nutty flavour of zeoling peas are the first to emerge on the palate, giving it a smooth and delicate texture. The palate is smooth and delicate, followed by spicy notes of juniper berries and green cardamom, with a rich and vibrant interplay of flavours. The finish is rounded with liquorice root, a rich and aromatic note that will bring you the ultimate in enjoyment.

The distillery's love affair with felt wine began with a purely exploratory journey. Without a plan, he quit his stable job and embarked on a life-changing journey into the world of felted wine. The winery created its first bottle of VIRGIN in the UK. Upon returning to Hong Kong, the brewery blind-drank the wine at a party with friends and family. To the brewery's surprise, ‘VIRGIN’ has always been the favourite amongst the best felts.

Like any epic adventure, the distillery took a sip of felt wine and decided to take on the distillery's mission - to establish Hong Kong's first felt wine distillery. After two and a half years of hard work, breaking out of his comfort zone and accumulating countless hours of knowledge and experience, the distillery finally founded Chi Yue Distillery. After several refinements, ‘VIRGIN’ metamorphosed into the distillery's now award-winning signature dry carpet spirit!

In 2020, the brewery collaborated with renowned bartender Antonio Lai (the mastermind behind Asia's 50 Best Bars Quinary, Room 309, etc.) to launch a limited edition Five Flower Tea Tap during the pandemic, with the intention of providing healing and comfort to the chaotic society at the time. It has since evolved into a preservation project that continues the history and culture of Hong Kong's herb tea shops.
As time changes, the number of herbal tea shops continues to diminish. Herb tea shops, which were the gathering point for neighbours in the 50‘s and 60’s, have now been replaced by bars and coffee shops. Therefore, the brewery hopes to preserve their culture and essence through the Wu Hua Tea Felt Wine, hoping to allow more future generations to taste and appreciate the cultural significance of Wu Hua Tea!
