Quite earthy and savory on the nose, the fruitonly emerging slowly. However, on the palate, this has a very attractive fleshyquality and a moderately dry, long finish of some real sophistication. Easy todrink now, but will hold. A blend of 74 per cent merlot, 18 per cent cabernetfranc and eight per cent cabernet sauvignon.

這座位於波爾多右岸的St-Emilion特級酒莊 ( Grand Cru Classes），位於產區東北前，佔地20公镇，土壤組成以粘土和石灰岩為主，葡萄品種約有70%為梅洛（Merlot），另30%是Cabernet Sauvignon 與Cabernet Franc各半。Chateau FleurCardinale使用傳統生長方式，大幅度修剪枝葉，以讓葡萄串得到圈光照射，與足夠的養份。葡萄酒的造全程採用人工作業，採收後以不同的葡萄地塊和採收時間點，分別讓不同的葡萄於18個温控不鏽鋼桶中進行發醇，35天後再移入橡木桶熟成13~15個月。
