品酒筆記: 瓶中醒酒2個鐘, 正好最佳狀態。一聞已經有好香紅果氣味, 仲有啲香料甘草、薄荷既香氣, 香氣相當醒目! 飲落除左果香、甜香料味道, 仲多左啲earthy既味道, 到尾段感受到厚實酒精感同單寧, 整體酒體好飽滿完整, 餘韻甘草、薄荷既香氣仍然強勁有力, 百年酒莊既實力果然雄厚, Robert Parjer 評價2014年的SAINT EMILION區有92分高分, 係非常出色的年份, 絕對可飲可陳, 適合唔同口味既酒友, 難怪Vivino大眾酒友評價去到4.3高分! 酒莊名字「Sarpe」一詞形容的是羅馬皇帝在種植葡萄園的時候，為左令葡萄有更多陽光，堅持清理山坡的情景，正好反映了酒莊對葡萄品質的堅持。

This has very ripe aromas of dark plums and cocoa powder with a sturdy and plush, approachable palate that has a rich, deep and juicy core with sumptuous, vibrant fruit in powerful mode. A blend of 70 per cent merlot and 30 per cent cabernet franc. Try from 2023.

The 2016 Haut Sarpe has a lifted patisserie-tinged bouquet with redcurrant and wild strawberry scents, simple but nicely defined. The palate is medium-bodied with smooth tannin, nicely balanced with well judged acidity, a touch of black pepper and cloves emerging towards the generous finish. Drink over the next decade, possibly longer.
