The 2016 Lacoste-Borie is a blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, cropped at 50 hectoliters per hectare. It has a clean and precise bouquet, not as complex as some of its peers, yet with thoroughly enjoyable raspberry and blackcurrant leaf tinged with cedar. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy, slightly dry tannin on the entry, hints of dark chocolate interlacing the black fruit with a touch of cracked black pepper on the finish.

葡萄園狀況

拉古斯酒莊（Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste）占地90公頃，現時有55公頃葡萄園，土壤為深層砂礫土質，底土為石灰石。葡萄主要種植波亞克地區常見的赤霞珠，比例為75%赤霞珠（Cabernet Sauvignon）和25%美樂（Merlot），年產量約18,000箱。種植密度10,000株/公頃，年均單產4,500-5,500升/公頃。

Francois-Xavier Borie 正是Château Ducru-Beaucaillou 的Bruno&Sabine Borie 的哥哥，身為長子的Francois應該更有資格繼承二級酒莊Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou，然而Frangois-Xavier Borie選擇了Chateau Grand Puy，在這裡，他有絕對的自由度來經營管理酒莊並製作出讓自己更滿意的佳釀。Grand Puy Lacoste呈現出典型的Pauillac風格：渾厚，單寧強勁，集中度佳。GrandPuy更帶出黑醋票，雪松，煙草和松露的香味以及充滿果味的韻味。雖說Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste是列級酒莊中的第五級，但其美好的均衡度，品質列於五級之首並且價格實惠，再加上日本漫書神之雫的介紹和加持，未來潛力無窮！！
