An enticing aroma of violets, cherryblossoms, fresh blue and black fruit and great structure define this beautiful,age-worthy wine. Subtle layering of fruit and oak spices between firm,fine-grained and supportive tannins gives it a calm intensity. So elegant andpolished. Hints of cinnamon and graphite accent blackcurrant and blueberryflavors that linger and grow in a long finish. Already attractive to drink, butbest after 2029.

Opus One Winery 作品一號酒莊位於美國加州 NapaValley 納帕谷的 Oakville 奧克維爾產區，是一座專注於生產優質波爾多風格的酒莊。其正牌酒 Opus One 作品一號是全美最頂級的酒款之一，有著“美國酒王”的美譽，在 James Suckling 2016 百大名酒榜單中榮登榜首，獲滿分 100 分。

Opus One Winery 作品一號酒莊由 BaronPhilippe de Rothschild 男爵和 Robert Mondavi 共同建立。來自法國的 Philippe 男爵是當時的 Chateau Mouton Rothschild 木桐酒莊莊主，正是在他的不懈努力下，木桐酒莊於 1973 年從波爾多二級莊晉升為一級莊，而 Robert 則是美國加州釀酒史上最重要的先驅之一，不僅首創了 Fume Blanc 白富美葡萄酒，還是引入高密度種植、溫控發酵、法國橡木桶陳年等種植和釀造技術的第一人。1979年，時任木桐酒莊釀酒師的 Lucien Sionneau 和 Robert 的兒子 Timothy Mondavi 首次合作釀造葡萄酒；次年，木桐酒莊與 Mondavi 蒙大維酒莊正式宣佈建立合資酒莊，但當時新酒莊和新酒款的名字並未確定。
