French Handmade Cognac Whiskey

Bastille 1789, a unique whiskey with French style, has an unparalleled perfect balance taste, completely overturning the existing stereotype of whiskey. Bastille created a great revolution in the whiskey world, and also symbolized the beginning of the French Revolution era, named "Bastille 1789".

History

MAISON DAUCOURT has experienced four generations of history. First, the two brothers Jean-Marc DAUCOURT (Jean-Mark) and Edouard DAUCOURT (Edward) shared a common passion for spirit distillation experience and strict production. Then Edouard's son Charles DAUCOURT also co-created the French Whiskey Challenge.

His father is from France and his mother is from Ireland. After inheriting the more than 150-year-old vineyard of their father's family in Borderies (Boutney), the Cognac region of France, the two brothers have integrated more than 30 years of valuable experience in the CAMUS COGNAC (Camus Cognac) business. They were inspired by Scottish and Irish mother families. Because of his rich experience in brewing both bourbon and Scotch whiskey, he has a revolutionary and innovative inspiration.

In the end, it took 10 years of careful research to create a pure French handmade cognac whiskey and establish a unique creation - Bastille (Bastille).

Wine Making

The distillers at Maison DAUCOURT have selected the finest malt and wheat grown in North East France, where some of the best Scotch whiskey makers in the world source their malt.

BASTILLE 1789 uses the purest water that has been naturally filtered through limestone for centuries.

Maison DAUCOURT draws on its "Savoir–Faire" and three generations of family tradition of making spirits. BASTILLE 1789 Whiskey is handcrafted. The aging process takes place in small batches of different varieties of casks, including the most luxurious French Limousin oak. These casks are a second use, having previously aged some of the finest wines and spirits, giving BASTILLE 1789 Whiskey its unique quality.

The French whiskey they created, Bastille, began at the Charentais swan neck distillery near the Cognac region in southwestern France.

With its special brewing method and exquisite blending technology, Bastille is considered to be the unique whiskey that best represents the French Revolution, opening up a new type of whiskey world. Brewed by the famous spirits maker Jean-Marc Daucourt with malt from northeast France, filtered through natural limestone for thousands of years without pollution and pure Gensac spring water, and stored in the world's most expensive Limousin Oak Limousin aged cognac oak barrels for aging, so that It is full of top cognac soul.

The whiskey is aged for 5 to 7 years in Limousin Oak. To increase the aroma of licorice, plum and vanilla ice cream.
