The GlenAllachie is located in Aberlour, Scotland Speyside, UK. It is currently owned by The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited and is one of the younger distilleries in Scotland. A distillery designed by William-Delme Evans and built in 1967 by MacKinley McPherson Ltd, a subsidiary of Scottish & Newcastle.
In February 1968, the distillery started its first production with an alcohol output of about 3 million litres and six months later increased the number of stills from two to four. In 1985, the Invergordon Group acquired MacKinley McPherson and closed the GlenAllachie distillery. In 1989, Campbell Distillers acquired GlenAllachie and began production on April 24. In the decades since then, GlenAllachie's production has never been interrupted. Later, Pernod Ricard acquired Campbell Distillers, and the whiskey brewed by GlenAllachie became an important ingredient in Clan Campbell Whisky, a whiskey owned by Chivas Brothers. In 2005, Chivas Brothers launched GlenAllachie single malt whisky. In 2017, Whiska legend Billy Walke purchased GlenAllachie along with Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson who will continue to lead GlenAllachie to prosperity.

Speaking of Billy Walker, almost everyone in the whisky circle knows him. He is recognized as the most talented bartender in Scotland. After selling BenRiach to Brown-Forman of the United States in 2015, almost everyone thought that Billy could retire peacefully, enjoying his later years with success and brilliant achievements and enough funds. However, Billy did not stop his steps. In October 2017, Billy reorganized a passionate team and started a new journey with Glenarridge Distillery.
Since the factory was founded in 1967, it has never produced single malt liquor, and mainly supplies blended whiskies such as Clan Campbell, Chivas Regal and House of Lords as base liquor.
Finally, in July 2018, Billy blended the first batch of single malt whiskey brands from a stock of more than 100,000 barrels. In November of the same year, he revived an ancient Scottish brand established in 1857 - Myer Scottish Blended Malt Whisky. The legendary story began to unfold from then on.
In 2019, it won the Distillery of the Year award. In 2020, Billy Walker won the Best Master Blender award. In 2021, GlenAllachie Ten-Year Cask Strength won the World's Best Single Malt award. In the same year, Billy also entered the Scottish Whiskey Hall of Fame.
