La Dame de Montrose is the second wine of Château Montrose. Like the original wine, it is made from grapes selected under strict standards. It has the style of the grand vin, but earlier and more elegant, with very obvious red fruit aromas and flavors, reflecting the unique terroir of Saint-Estèphe. This wine was created in 1983 to pay tribute to Yvonne Charmolue who ran the winery on her own from 1944 to 1960.
