Château Lafleur du Roy is located in the village of Pomerol - the right bank of Bordeaux. It was founded in 1958 by the couple Yvon and Pâquerette Dubost. It is a typical delicate family micro winery. Yvon was originally engaged in the cultivation of grape seedlings and was trusted by major wineries. He was the head of the village of Pomerol. The couple have been cultivating in Bordeaux for many years, and they have a deep love and understanding of the local culture and land.

The park is located on a 60-meter-high terrain facing southwest. The top soil is gravel and sandstone, and the bottom layer is iron-rich soil. The area is only 4 hectares, and the average tree age is 40-45 years. The family values ecology and nature, does not use any chemical fertilizers or herbicides, uses a large amount of manual weeding on a regular basis, and closely inspects each grape plant one by one from time to time. The harvest is only hand-harvested and fully destemmed for brewing. According to different varieties, it is fermented in stainless steel tanks for about three weeks, and aged in French oak barrels with a ratio of new and old barrels of 20/80 for about 15 months.

Every year, the Dubost family invites Belgian painter friends to paint different flower themes as the wine label of Château Lafleur du Roy that year. In addition to Lafleur du Roy Pomerol, the winery also launched a limited edition flagship wine, Lafleur du Roy Cuvée Prestige, crafted with 100% Merlot from the best 45-year-old vines. Only 3,500 bottles are produced each year, reserved only for Lafleur du Roy fans. The various micro wineries owned by the family, including Château Bossuet red wine and Château Pâquerette white wine, are of excellent quality, do not do too much international marketing, and are particularly value-for-money. The family brewing business is currently run by son Laurent, who is a graduate of brewing university, inheriting his parents' solid and low-key style, maintaining a reputation for quality excellence and value for money
