The wine is bottled Processing without changing barrels or filtering.

Taste: This white grape variety with 100% Melon de Bourgogne makes me look forward to it very much, and I really want to taste the unique flavor brought out by the specially processed Sur lie technique.

Sure enough, I really like its right acidity, its aroma, the attractive cheese, yeast and cream aroma, the citrus, pear, and the slight mineral taste.

Sometimes white wine with too high acidity will perform better with catering than drinking alone, but I think this Guipiere white wine can not only be served with meals but also drunk alone, because the acidity is the same as the overall feeling very gentle and worth recommending.

Muscadet (Miscadet) wines
It is famous by the Melon de Bourgogne grape variety and the "Sur lie" brewing method:

1) Melon de Bourgogne (Burgundy melon):
Muscadet, a white wine named after its grape variety, is produced in the western part of the Loire Valley, near the city of Nantes. This grape was introduced from Burgundy by Dutch merchants in the 17th century, so it is also called Melon de Bourgogne (Burgundy melon).

Has the following characteristics:
It is not sweet, with a little salty taste, citrus, and hard. At first, because this variety has a light taste and has no distinctive characteristics, it was only used to make distilled brandy. But to this day, it is the most important white wine in the southern specialty of the Loire Valley in France.

2) Special winemaking method of "Sur lie" wine residue aging:

In order to enhance the taste, this method uses a special technique during the brewing process. After the fermentation is completed, the wine does not immediately change the tank to remove the residue, but allows the dead yeast and wine residue to continue to soak in the wine tank. Wait until the spring of the following year for bottling. This is done in order to produce a fuller-bodied wine, with a more intense flavor and richer taste. This method is called "Sur Lie".

In order to extract more unique flavors, it effectively increases the structure and taste of the wine, thereby increasing the fullness of the wine, increasing the length, persistence and complexity of the aroma. The wine is bottled without changing barrels or filtering.

*Liquor residue is the sediment produced during the fermentation process, including dead yeast, pulp, tartaric acid crystals, etc. These precipitates are usually filtered.

*After the grapes are harvested, during the vinification process, the wine can not be bottled until after the third week of March after soaking for at least a whole winter. Some wines are bottled later, until mid-October to mid-November,

In 1994, French officials stipulated that only manufacturers meeting certain standards could use the label, which is a symbol of quality.
Only the three sub-regions of Muscadet can use the "Sur lie" brewing method, and the ordinary regional Muscadet AOC Miscadet wine cannot be labeled.

The three sub-regions are:
Muscadet de Sevre et Maine (most famous)
Muscadet des Coteaux de la Loire
Muscadet Cotes de Grandlieu

The name of the Miscadet region was officially certified in 1937. Among the three sub-regions, the most representative is Muscadet Sevre-et-Maine, which is also the most common. About 80% of Miscadet wines are produced here. Named after the two tributaries of the Loire, Servre and Maine, the other two are Muscadet des Coteaux de la Loire in the north of Nantes and Muscadet Cotes de Grandlieu in the southwest of Nantes.

This is the home of white wine
Loire valley (Loire) One of the famous wine regions in France:

Loire valley AOC Loire valley, more than half of which is white wine, divided into 4 main regions
From west to east:
Pays Nantes (Nantes)
Anjou-saumur (Anjou-Saumur)
Touraine (Dulan)
Centre Loire (Central)

Most of the vineyards are located on the flat bank of the Loire River, facing south, very close to the Atlantic Ocean, 6-60 miles (10-96 km) to the west, so the ocean climate is cold, humid, stormy winters, and cool spring flowers Open summer, warm and humid summer, and often windy and heavy rain. Pays Nantes (Nantes) to the west is more affected by the ocean climate and is also humid.

Good soil drainage-this is an important factor in humid climates

The soil is on some sandy bedrock, schist, mica schist), granite sand, etc. These are mostly on the left bank of the Loire. Good soil drainage is important for the vines to survive in this humid climate. Grapes grown on well-drained, sandy soils tend to produce wines with high mineral content, light body, and aroma.
