Alex Foillard 是博若萊（Beaujolais）產區新生代釀酒師的代表人物，位於 Côte de Brouilly 的葡萄園與酒款以鮮明的風土表達和低幹預釀造風格著稱。

Alex Foillard 是博若萊「四巨頭」之一 Jean Foillard 的兒子，自幼受家族影響接觸永續農業和自然釀酒法。他在蒙彼利埃學習農業，後來於伯恩獲得葡萄栽培學位，並於2016年在 Brouilly 和 Côte de Brouilly 各購入1公頃葡萄園，開始獨立釀酒。他的葡萄園遵循有機原則管理（未經認證），採用手工採摘、自然酵母發酵、無澄清過濾，僅在裝瓶時微量添加二氧化硫。這種「少即是多」的概念使他的葡萄酒保留了純粹的果香和礦物感，被評價為「極具Foillard家族基因」。

產區 Region

Côte de Brouilly 位於博若萊北部，環繞 Mont Brouilly 火山丘，覆蓋 Saint-Lager、Odenas 等四個公社，葡萄園多分佈於海拔300米以上的陡峭山坡。

土壤以花崗岩為主，夾雜藍色火山岩（Pierre Bleue），排水性極佳，賦予葡萄強勁的結構和礦物風味。這裡屬於大陸性氣候，夏季炎熱，冬季寒冷，Mont Brouilly 的山體阻擋了冷風和雨水，形成微氣候。

與山下的 Brouilly 相比，Côte de Brouilly 的葡萄酒更具深度和陳年潛力，常被形容為「博若萊的布根地」。

有關釀造 Winemaking

葡萄品種：100% 佳美（Gamay），樹齡平均50年，部分老藤達92年。

釀造過程：整串發酵30天，低溫浸皮21天，30%在混凝土槽中熟成，70%使用舊橡木桶（228L），熟成9個月。

Bright violet. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes an array of red and bluefruits, pungent flowers and exotic spices, and a smoky mineral nuanceemerges as the wine gets air. Sweet, seamless and penetrating on thepalate, offering juicy, appealingly sweet boysenberry, cherry and rosepastille flavors that deepen through the back half while maintainingenergy. Shows fine definition and mineral cut on the strikingly long finish,which is given shape by silky, well.knit tannins.
