莊園在路易十三時期起就屬於Roque family。該莊園隨後在擁有釀酒師和木桶匠血統的Roque family中代代相傳。 2016 年，Roque family的最後一位後裔Philippe le Roy繼承了，將莊園賣給了三個朋友：Peter Kwok、Philippe Lambrecht和 Jean-Christophe Meyrou。
莊園佔地 12 公頃的土地位於多爾多Dordogne右岸的粘土石灰岩風土上。它在聖埃美隆以東的一個小鎮Sainte-Colombe,高原上享有優越的地理位置，擁有羅馬別墅及其馬賽克的遺跡，以及一座 12 世紀歷史悠久的羅馬式教堂。

【Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux】
產自波爾多以東與Saint-Emilion相同的石灰岩高原，地理位置得天獨厚，朝南，海拔差異超過 100 米。 這種石灰石，因為它的多孔性非常好，能夠吸收多餘的水分，並在乾燥條件下將這些水分送回葡萄園，釀造的葡萄酒帶有礦物氣息，口感細膩。在這個地區土壤通常不是很厚，石灰石仍然非常靠近地表。 因此葡萄藤可以享受該地區多孔石灰岩的好處。LesArgileuses 產自 1 號和 3 號地塊的綠色和藍色粘土風土，而 Les Rocheuses 則來自 5 號和 6 號地塊的 100% 石灰岩風土。

介紹: 呢款酒款雖然來自Castillon Cotes De Bordeaux，但風格和瓶身都有別於一般的波爾多葡萄酒。酒款使用瓶肩較窄而且有弧度的布根地瓶。另外Les Argileuses的土壤以黏土爲主，使用80% Merlot及20 % Cabernet Franc混釀，擁有甘草、櫻桃、桑莓的濃厚風味，單寧圓潤。值得一提的是，產量只有25000瓶，數量相當稀少。

The 2021 Les Argileuses will have beenbottled by the time this review is published. Bursting with aromas of sweetberries and cherries mingled with hints of licorice and rose petals, it'smedium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with powdery tannins and succulentacids. Bottled in a Burgundy bottle and matured in tank, it represents anothervision of what Bordeaux can be.
